Project Description

MPTX has extensive experience developing FEMA-sanctioned hazard mitigation plans (HMPs) for several jurisdictions. These documents report on natural hazard history and risk in the local area, potential impacts of those hazards, and establishes mitigation strategies to minimize and eliminate damages in the future. Plans must be kept current and updated every 5 years, and are generally pre-requisites for hazard mitigation grants.

MPTX also has experience with the development of Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs), which guide the way for communities to increase fire resilience and reduce fire-caused damages.
